Opening of the Captain John Robertson DSC RAN Building at Fleet Base East Garden Island

This building is the ‘LHD Through Life Support Facility’. It emulates the systems in these impressive new ships and manages all LHD logistics etc.

The new officers paraded as a guard on HMAS Creswell Quarterdeck and marched past the Reviewing Officer, Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd) At NEOC 52 graduation, the Royal Australian Navy observed 100 years of training excellence at HMAS Creswell. The first Cadet Midshipmen to undertake Officer initial entry training arrived at the base in 1915.
