Dear members.

It is with great sadness that I advise the passing of NOA member Commodore Peter Dechaineux AM on 26 May. Peter was a resident of Canberra and was Navy’s last link to his father Emile, killed in action while in command of HMAS Australia – 21 October 1944.

Peter will be greatly missed. Funeral details will be advised when known.
